The Confessional Lutheran Church of Latvia (CLCL) and the Augsburg Institute have become quite a success story: 8 pastors, 10 congregations, and 500 adult members—and the numbers are growing.
The Augsburg Institute exists to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus and to promote the teachings of confessional Lutheranism. 
It also provides a place for those who wish to learn and study God’s Word. The Institute publishes the Latvian Lutheran, a popular website where the Word of the Gospel goes forth just as it did at the time of the Reformation.
